I recently stayed at the Contact Hotel in Fontenay-le-Comte for a few nights and had a great experience. The location was easy to find and convenient, just off the A83 motorway. The room was spacious and clean, with a separate toilet that was surprisingly roomy. There is a fantastic restaurant right next to the hotel called La Boucherie, which served delicious food at reasonable prices. The owner or director of the hotel was incredibly kind and helpful, and they were the only staff member who spoke English. it was a pleasant and comfortable stay at the Contact Hotel.
